Amazon has had an historic quarter. Stock is up nearly 29 percent since early January. Alphabet however, has had a more volatile quarter with shares going up and down.
In fact shares of Amazon are up 85% over the past 12 months, rising 35% this year.
There is only one company that is currently more valuable than Amazon, the technology giant Apple.
Nevertheless, Amazon still has some way before reaching Apple’s $892 billion value.
