All 12 boys and their football couch are spending their first night outside the Tham Luang cave system which they have been trapped in for over 17 days.
The boys were discovered last week by British divers, huddled on a ledge after they became trapped by heavy rains which flooded their exit.
Eight of the boys were freed from the cave system over the weekend and have been recovering in hospital where they are in remarkably good condition, according to doctors.
They have undergone X-rays and blood tests, and will remain under observation in hospital for at least seven days.
The life-threatening nature of the rescue came to fore when a former Thai Navy SEAL diver died during a rescue attempt last Friday.
