In an explosive tweet today, US President Donald Trump has said that Russia should “get ready” for missiles to be fired into Syria, in response to an alleged chemical attack at the weekend.
Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!

On Saturday, Syrian opposition activists, rescue workers and medics said the rebel-held town of Douma in the Eastern Ghouta region had been attacked by government forces using bombs filled with toxic chemicals.
The Syrian-American Medical Society said more than 500 people had been found with symptoms “indicative of exposure to a chemical agent”, and on Wednesday the World Health Organization demanded access to the area to verify reports from its partners that 70 people had died.
President Bashar al-Assad’s government, which receives military backing from Russia, has continuously denied being behind any chemical attack.
However, President Trump, clearly not buying what President Assad was putting down, has referred to him a “Gas Killing Animal.”
Mr Trump had previously promised a “forceful” reply to the suspected attack.
Senior Russian figures had threatened to meet any US strikes with an equal response.
The US and Western allies said they have agreed to work together on this issue, with France and Britain believed to already be preparing for a military strike. However, it is understood that Theresa May has urged Mr Trump to provide more evidence of the suspected chemical attack.
